Provision Content

Any voter who requires assistance to vote by reason of blindness, disability, or inability to read or write may be given assistance by a person of the voters choice, other than the voters employer or agent of that employer or officer or agent of the voters union.

Effective Date

Section 5 of Pub. L. 97–205 provided that this section is effective Jan. 1, 1984.
